Willie Benegas

Willie Benegas was born in Patagonia and raised to climb mountains. His roots are in exploring Patagonia with his father and brother, Damian Benegas. He brought his experience and ambitions to the United States at age 21, went to Yosemite and logged over 80 ascents of El Capitan. Equally impressive are his annual returns to South America, where he has logged over 50 ascents of Aconcagua. A certified IFMGA mountain guide, you can rely on Willie’s extensive experience and skills.

Todd Passey

Todd Passey is a Utah born and raised local but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t traveled the world experiencing a wide variety of mountain ranges from deep powdery Alaskan descents to summiting the top of the world. Todd is an IFMGA Mountain Guide that can guide you with a local’s knowledge, international experience, and extensive educational and practical skills.

Winslow Passey

Winslow has been guiding since 2002, is a certified AMGA Ski Mountaineering Guide, and has taken the AMGA Rock Course and Alpine Course. She has guided worldwide in places like Mongolia, Antarctica, Nepal, Norway, Alaska, the Cascades, and the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. Winslow has made several first ski descents in Antartica and first ascents of several smaller peaks.

Erik Fullmer

Erik joined the Wasatch Mountain Guide team in 2021. Currently a certified AMGA Apprentice Alpine and Apprentice Ski Guide, Erik is first focusing on becoming a fully certified Ski Guide and then Alpine Guide.

Joseph Hobby

Active by nature, Joseph grew up exposed to the family farm in South Georgia where a hard day's work was deeply ingrained in him. Far from mountains, he was introduced to the cliffs of gneiss tucked into the southern Appalachians.
