Our Svalbard Sail to Ski expedition is a once-in-a-lifetime Arctic adventure combining daily backcountry ski tours with the serenity of sailing through Svalbard’s dramatic fjords aboard the MV Ulla Rinman. Starting in Longyearbyen, you’ll board the expedition vessel and spend 7 nights living aboard as certified IFMGA/AMGA guides lead tailored ski tours across pristine glaciers and rugged peaks, searching for untouched terrain and unforgettable descents. Days are filled with exploration through remote landscapes where you might encounter polar bears, walruses, seals, and arctic birdlife, and evenings are spent sharing hearty meals and stories on deck as the ship moves to the next striking fjord. Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who crave remote skiing and authentic exploration, this trip blends professional guiding, expedition logistics, and the raw beauty of the high Arctic.
