  • American Fork Canyon — limestone, and the heart of Utah County sport climbing. Steep, pocketed rock with a huge range of grades, from moderate first leads to some of the hardest sport routes in the state. Shady in summer.
  • Rock Canyon — quartzite, right above Provo. Short approaches, and some of the best beginner and intermediate terrain in the county. Where we take most first-time groups.
  • Provo Canyon — varied rock and the longer multi-pitch options close to town.
  • Slate Canyon — quieter, closer to south Provo, and good for getting away from the weekend crowds.

We pick the crag on the day to suit your group, the weather, and how busy each canyon is.

A large share of our Utah County climbing is groups: families, youth groups, ward and stake activities, scout troops, school clubs, and company outings. We bring as many guides as the group needs to keep the ratio at four climbers per guide, and we set up multiple top-ropes so everyone is climbing rather than waiting.

For younger climbers specifically, our Kids Rock Climbing Course is built for ages 7 to 13. For groups, contact us with your numbers, ages, and date, and we will quote the day.
