Both days were simply fabulous.
Erik Fullmer guided us on two different backcountry excursions. Both days were simply fabulous. Erik was very patient, and took time to explain many aspects of the snow pack, the proper techniques to skin up. He was very patient and always willing to answer our questions.
WMG provides guided backcountry skiing and splitboard touring for all levels in Utah's Wasatch Range, with both human-powered and lift-accessed options in the Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. We also have guided skiing in the Provo, Utah area. Beyond Utah, WMG guides ski-mountaineering trips in Alaska, Patagonia (Chile), and on Mount Baker. All tours are led by IFMGA/AMGA-certified guides who plan routes around daily snow and avalanche conditions and each client's ability. The Utah backcountry ski season runs roughly December through April, Alaska trips are March-April, Baker ski trips are April-June, and Patagonia trips are September-October.
