Guided Alaska Adventures:

Below are brief general details about the variants in guided ski trips in Alaska. Submit an inquiry  in order to receive a full itinerary, price quotes, etc. We will begin building your very own custom Alaska winter trip.

Dates: these trips will take place in March and April.

Valdez/Chugach/Thompson and Hatcher Pass

From the Chugach (including Hatcher Pass) to Valdez, Alaska, there are unlimited options for thousands of vertical feet of untouched powder skiing. The trips can either be human powered,  or also include heli assisted (with a single drop or multi drop day), or snowmobile assisted. It depends on your timeline and goals.

The top reason to book a ski guide in Valdez or the Chugach is for risk management. The challenging and often unpredictable terrain, variable weather conditions, and potential avalanche risks make having a knowledgeable and experienced guide essential to ensure your safety while enjoying the best skiing experiences the region has to offer.

Ski Camping in Denali National Park

For Alaska base camp skiing in the Alaska Range, do you envision flying on a cessna into a secluded zone and spending the week camping, skiing, and eating well? Then these trips are for you. Join us to ski steep couloirs and glaciers near the Pika Glacier, in our less frequented zones. There might even be a first ski descent.

Jagged granite rock spires are separated by snowy couloirs that drain into long glaciers offering miles of skiing pleasure. While the Pika Glacier is a much sought after ski base camp and ski mountaineering zone, we are offering access to other ski base camps on other surrounding glaciers, including the Eldridge.

WMG provides a base camp cook tent and individual sleeping tents. We provide all the food and do all the cooking. Guests need their own ski gear and their own sleeping bag and pad. We will send an equipment list upon booking.
